Official title & purpose

Accessibility in City Programs, Services, and Activities FOR the purpose of implementing subtitle A of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, and 28 CFR Part 35 {“Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability in State and Local Government Services”}; establishing the mandate that no qualified individual with a disability shall, on the basis of disability, be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of the services, programs, or activities of a City agency, or be subjected to discrimination by a City agency; defining certain terms; establishing a special effective date; and generally relating to the provision of public services to qualified individuals with a disability.
